Don’t just Drink BrewDog. Own BrewDog.
BrewDog approached us to pitch ideas for the promotion of Equity for Punks V, the fifth round of its annual crowdfunding initiative. The focus was simply to raise awareness of the scheme, with a specific focus on encouraging the purchase of shares in BrewDog’s bars across the UK.
We proposed a simple message rendered by an expansive creative vinyl execution for bar windows. The message, Don’t just drink BrewDog. Own BrewDog., was a direct distillation of what EFP was all about. To those BrewDog drinkers in the know, an invitation, to everybody else, an intrigue.
We executed the design using a bespoke, graffiti-inspired handwritten font, both reflecting BrewDog’s distinct brand identity, while simultaneously giving the EFP campaign its own one-off look and feel.
Alongside a complementary campaign idea in which we suggested advertising the sale of shares via the in-bar menu as a ‘£100 pint’ offering, BrewDog rolled out our work across all of its bars nationwide.
