‘Tis the season for LBV X.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, retained client Little Valley, created a special new variety. Our job was to brand it and then launch it with a targeted seasonal campaign.
Making simple use of roman numerals, we suggested ‘LVB X’ as the name. To go with it, we designed an upmarket progression of the Little Valley label, retaining some elements of the brewery’s established template, but incorporating a new black and gold colour scheme and bespoke fonts and illustrations to emphasise the craftsmanship behind the beer.
We then devised a supporting PR campaign to reinforce the new brand values and drive sales of LVB X – and thus, the #ChristmasCheers! campaign was born. We partnered with Grand Central Trains to spread the festive cheer with commuters on their way to London. The first passengers from each carriage to tweet their seat number were given a free bottle of LVB X. Ten bottles were given to ten lucky passengers and, naturally, we caught the whole thing on video.
