Conference Leeds

We’re proud of our home of Leeds, so any client offering the chance to show off the city and boost the local economy is a win win. So our relationship with Leeds’ conferencing organisation – Conference Leeds – has been a rewarding one.


Our work began with PR and SEO, telling a digital story that helped our audience find and engage with an organisation that brings tens of thousands of delegates to Leeds each year. Once those digital ducks were in a row, we moved on to a more comprehensive reimagining of Conference Leeds. A fresh brand direction. Messaging and imagery to match. And a new website, fit for purpose and perfect for stakeholder engagement.

That new mission encouraged visitors and organisers to ‘Experience Exceptional’. Resplendent hero photography and an updated look and feel helped that mission connect. The brand was rolled out across a full suite too, from presentations and pitch decks to posters and print.

Web development offered challenges to overcome, including integrations including Gratis and Conference Directory. A bespoke theme and WordPress CMS boosted accessibility for stakeholders and the Conference Leeds team, and the site was optimised for SEO, analytics and thorough reporting.

After launch and testing was complete, we moved on to phase two. Using the integrated Venue Directory API – a single core data source updated by venue owners – we created a filterable, colour-coded map designed to highlight everything Conference Leeds has to offer, from venues of all types, to sport and heritage attractions. All supported video assets for a comprehensive comms campaign.

What’s next for Conference Leeds? We’re excited to find out. But we know we’ll have an adaptable brand and website ready to meet the challenge.
