Low-sugar confectionery brand, Diablo, asked us to rewrite, redesign and rebuild its existing Shopify store. It wanted the site to be more effective at delivering sales directly, via its owned channels.

The Requirements
The project had two main components. The first was to address the infrastructure of the existing site. It straddled both WordPress and Shopify (with different domains), so the central development job was to put everything in one place, streamline the user journey and support CMS management moving forward.
The second was to ensure the brand journey was consistent, both visually and in terms of messaging. The existing site was compromised by significant visual inconsistencies and an abundance of copy.
The Approach
We built a custom Shopify theme using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript – consolidating the site under one domain.
From a brand perspective we simplified and stripped back, prioritising core information through succinct, engaging product copy, and ensuring design was consistent throughout.
We also introduced bespoke creative and animation to help tell the story of the business.
The Outcome
A swish new website, fully live and launched.
