Unlocking the magic of Christmas
We love an opportunity to spread festive cheer, so we jumped at the chance to get involved with a Christmassy campaign for Barratt Homes in Yorkshire and the North East. With the big day on the horizon, we set about devising a campaign that would engage with families living in Barratt developments, and spark the interest of the local press too.
Though new build homes are pretty well equipped, some lack one vital Christmassy feature – the all important chimney! With nowhere for Santa to make an entry, we figured there was a sooty gap in the market.
We stocked local sales offices with specially designed ‘magic keys’, each of which would help Father Christmas complete his rounds. Children on Barratt developments, and in the local area, were invited to pay a visit and collect their key, unlocking the joy of Christmas.
The campaign garnered plenty of coverage, with 26 pieces appearing in the press, and a wealth of positive sentiment for Barratt Homes.
