National Outdoor Fitness Day 2015 (and a new world record).
We worked with outdoor fitness client British Military Fitness on raising awareness of the second National Outdoor Fitness Day (NOFD) and the events that were taking place at 90 venues nationwide.
We decided to try and break the Guinness World Record for the greatest number of people performing jump squats simultaneously at a single venue. The arena: Wandsworth Common. The record in question: 250 people.
It was hot. It was crowded. But we managed it. After coordinating stewards, witnesses and timekeepers, briefing a videographer and helping out in any way we could, the GWR record was achieved, with 378 participants squatting to success. We also encouraged over 3,000 people to attend sessions ran at the 89 other BMF venues on National Outdoor Fitness Day 2015.
