From local heritage to national beer.
After making great craft beer for almost a decade and half, Little Valley Brewery were ready to take its brand in a new direction and build its profile nationwide. Having worked with the brand previously on a new website using their existing brand and an award winning PR campaign we were excited to take things further.
Over the years the craft beer market has grown into a complex and diverse brandscape. Therefore, it was important to re-establish Little Valley’s unique proposition as an accessible craft brand with a strong heritage.
First, we redefined its tone of voice so it’s still playful but more mature and self-assured. Then, we developed the design which takes the look and feel of its rural surroundings in West Yorkshire but with a modern twist. Both elements were integrated to produce new labeling, photography and a fresh website with new content. The result is a brand that can be identified by the contours and shapes of the local landscape.
