Long-time client Dunlop Adhesives was looking to rebrand its packaging. With a nod to brand heritage, it wanted the new designs to take a darker hue. We obliged, and an integrated ‘Back to Black’ brand campaign was born.
The campaign saw us deliver a full suite of creative and digital executions – including website design and development, teaser ads and a bespoke corporate animation – while our PR team devised a launch strategy to target the industry and trade media.
Challenged with repositioning Dunlop Adhesives’ brand to avoid it stealing market share from parent-company BAL’s own branded products, ilk helped to provide clarity and a more recognisable brand identity.
It was an integrated campaign, with packaging and collateral design taken care of by creative, the website built by our digital team and every element of PR & Social Media looked after by ilk’s comms team.
The result was wide spread exposure and the creation of an animated video that received over 700 targeted views, in addition to a more solid market positioning for the new brand.
