ilk scoops third award for EU referendum beer campaign

There are a few sore heads in the ilk office this morning, but nonetheless we’re thrilled to have won the Low Budget Campaign of the Year Award at last night’s PRmoment Awards 2017. Held in Manchester’s Deansgate Hilton, the annual awards celebrate and reward PR and Communications excellence in Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The winning campaign was Launching EU beers for the undecided masses with Little Valley Brewery, one of Yorkshire’s up and coming microbreweries. We branded up three beers, ‘IN’, ‘OUT’ and ‘IDK (I Don’t Know)’ and spread the word through an active press office, ultimately encouraging consumers to engage with the topic with their tastebuds as well as their ballot cards.

It completes a hat-trick of award wins for the  campaign, after we were named winners of Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year Award at the CIM Northern Awards and Low Budget Campaign of the Year at the CIPR Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards.
