ilk appoints new Digital Manager

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Poppy Smart, who joins us as digital manager.

Poppy will head up the agency’s digital offering, working especially closely with our developers and digital communications specialists, but also in collaboration with all areas of the business, across a diverse range of projects and sectors.

With six years of agency and freelance experience, Poppy began her career with a focus on PR and copywriting but moved towards SEO and digital as her marketing expertise developed.

Speaking on her new role, Poppy comments: “Moving to a new job during a pandemic is obviously a bit weird! But – even though I’ve had to get to know people through video calls – I’ve been made to feel really welcome and already have a real feel for the culture – which was a big part of why I wanted to join the ilk team in the first place. There are lots of exciting projects in the works, so it’s been awesome to throw myself into it.”

With Poppy’s background in both PR and copywriting she fits the bill perfectly – and we think she’ll not just enhance our digital offering, but our capabilities across the whole agency.”

One of the first projects Poppy has been working on is the recently announced contract win with Destination Milton Keynes in which she has been fundamental to the creation and management of the client’s digital strategy.
