After a competitive pitching process, award-winning integrated communications agency, ilk, has announced the addition of food service bakery giant Kara to its current PR client roster. The account will be managed from the agency’s head office in Leeds.
Kara provides frozen bakery goods to the foodservice sector. Being famous for floured baps since 1985, Kara produces a range of mouth-watering sweet and savoury baked products to the biggest UK wholesalers and most popular names on the high street. Kara also stirs in the latest consumer trends to its mix; ensuring its foodservice customers stay ahead of the game.
ilk will be using its expertise in media relations and extensive contacts book, as well as content creation and campaign management, to aid Kara in raising its profile across trade media and the foodservice sector. Traditional and digital tactics will be employed across the account to increase Kara’s market share and to protect and manage the brand on a day-to-day basis.
