Introducing Goodilk – our new CSR initiative.

At ilk, we don’t just do fun stuff. We do good stuff! And as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations (yes, we remember the Millennium Bug), we’re bringing the awesome stuff we do in our workplace and our community together as one.

We’re calling it Goodilk.

It’s all about the things we do – the things we believe in – that make us…

a) a great place to work

b) an active part of our local community

d) a force for good in the world!

It might be initiatives within our agency to make ilk a great place to work for ilksters, or it might be our contributions to charitable causes and organisations making a difference in our community. All that Goodilk.

The starting gun was fired in May, with 10 ilksters training for the Run For All Leeds 10K. We ran 507 miles and raised £507 for Macmillan Cancer Support in the process.

We’re also providing pro bono services from across our integrated offering, starting with our Digital team delivering free SEO activity to St Leonard’s Hospice, supporting their effort to stand out online and drive much needed donations.

Each quarter, ilksters will nominate a new lead charity to support, with everything from hosting fundraising events, to volunteering, monetary donations or pro bono services all on the cards.

In addition to external charitable efforts, Goodilk is also a home for new internal initiatives to continue building a progressive workplace culture. Diversity, sustainability, and overall employee well-being all fall under the Goodilk banner.
