Senior Social and Paid Media Manager

Overview:

As a senior social and paid media manager at ilk, you will be an important part of the agency’s delivery of creative and impactful campaigns across a multitude of social media and digital platforms. 

You’ll be a core part of a growing team of social and paid specialists, as well as counting on the support of the wider PR and social media team to deliver a raft of integrated campaigns. 

You’ll be responsible for devising and implementing social media and paid activity across retained and project work, which will ensure clients across a multitude of sectors can count on us to make a tangible impact on their results.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and execution of social and paid media strategies for a range of clients – including strategic approaches, content creation, campaign ideas, asset briefing, paid media delivery (particularly across the social media advertising space), set up and reporting
  • Ensure members of the team including its paid media manager, PR and social media managers and PR and social media executives are suitably equipped and briefed to deliver social and paid media campaigns with hands-on support and upskilling where relevant 
  • Work to set KPIs for each client, including setting new ones on a quarterly basis
  • Review the performance of social and paid media campaigns on a regular basis in order to identify opportunities to revise our strategies with the goals of the client’s business firmly in mind
  • Be responsible for the workload management of a paid media manager and PR & social media executive
  • Work closely with the agency’s copywriters and design studio to create impactful social and paid media content
  • Assist with new business opportunities, playing a role on those with a significant social and/or paid remit, as part of the wider team
  • Review service levels and manage profitability across your client portfolio
  • Ensure effective working practices between PR and social media, creative account management, studio and digital teams – following the agency’s processes

Hours:

Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 5.00pm on a Friday.
