Five sweet things off of the internets that were pretty sweet and off of the internets.
In the words of Shangela “Halleloo! I’m baaack b*tches!”, slightly tanned (read: PINK) and slightly relaxed (read: NOT AT ALL I HAVE A 5 AND A 2 YEAR OLD AND WE WENT ON A PLANE FOR 2 AND A HALF HOURS EACH WAY AND IT WAS WELL HOT AND NO ONE GOES TO BED AT A REASONABLE HOUR IN SPAIN). Here’s some cool stuff that i’ve seen this week whilst everyone else in the office was down on the farm.
#1. Possibly the best thing to come out of the McWhopper stunt. Boss Burgers’ open letter to The King. NOTE: ALWAYS read the small print.
#2. You know that guy who looks proper miserable all the time? Well, he’s actually not and you’re being Chronic Resting Dick Face-ist. Yeah. Feel bad now don’t you? You know what you should do? Buy that person something really nice. Or take him out to lunch. And not just a Boots meal deal either – a proper lunch. Where you sit down and everything (Hat tip to our very own Adam Worrall for this. Go Wozza).
#3. What happens when you see your work being ripped off? What happens when you investigate further and realise that the ‘ripped off’ logo *actually* came first? Really, really refreshing article on the new FormFiftyFive logo and the controversy surrounding it. Also – FFF have started releasing Spotify playlists AND THEY ARE BRILLIANT.
#4. Speaking of music, Pitchfork have put together their top 200 songs of the 80s and you can listen to most of it on Apple music. That’s right, Apple music. From the same people that brought you Ping. Yeah, remember Ping?!
And that, my dears, is your lot.
Kay, kay. That really is it. I’m off to spend the bank holiday watching WAAAAAY too much RuPaul’s Drag Race.
